The race was won by Roy Salvadori & Carroll Shelby in their Aston Martin DBR1/300 S/N 2 with a total of 323 laps to their name.

This is a vintage & original photo of the Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato of Jean Kerguen prior to the start of the 1962 running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Kerguen teamed up with "Franc" for the race and the duo managed 134 laps before the headgasket gave way...
It measures some 7 x 5 inches (17.5 x 12.5 cm) and is black & white.
This is a vintage print, i.e. printed shortly after the original image was captured on film.
